Philosophy Miracle Worker

Last week I needed an eye cream but I was unsure which one to buy. There are sooooooo many eye creams out there. One does this, the other that. It’s hard to read between the lines of eye creams. I wanted one that diminishes the look on fine lines and brightens the skin underneath the eye..I found myself at Nordstrom confused on which one to purchase. UNTIL…. This helpful staff member introduced me to Philosophy’s Miracle Worker. The Stats of this cream are as follows (taken from Philosophy website):

I have only been using this product for 1 week, but I do think I am reaping the benefits. If you are in need of an eye cream and don’t mind the $65.00 price tag, you should go for it! The product contains retinol as one of the key ingredients, helping brighten the delicate eye area. Recommended for anyone with fine lines or dark circles.

Sebastian Drench Moisturizing Conditioner

Being a hairstylist, I always have my hands in new products. Today I left my gym bag in my car with my favorite conditioner inside. PANIC!! I needed to wash my hair and I needed something fast. Digging though my vanity, I found a sample of Sebastian Drench, Moisturizing Conditioner. AND WOW I LOVE IT! I am always very impressed with the quality of Sebastian products, although they have a low price point the brand gets the job done. This conditioner instantly glides through your hair making it very easy to detangle once out of the shower. The fragrance is refreshing and the perfect pick me up for early mornings. It left my hair feeling hydrated and soft, which is especially beneficial because I wear hair extensions. The conditioner is color safe and will supposedly help color to stop fading. I recommend this for anyone looking for a moistuzing conditioner that smells AMAZING!

Proactiv Solution Refining Mask

I have been wanting to purchase a mask for a long time but I just never got around to doing it. All week I had been hearing from my professor about the importance of exfoliation and if a person does it 2 times a week their skin will look younger and more radiant… Well being the lucky student that I am, another professor gave me the Proactive Refining Mask to try out and review. This product is wonderful and will make your skin look 5 years younger. I believe the active ingredient, “sulfur” is the explanation. You are to apply it on dampened skin and leave it on for 10 minutes. Skin starts to feel taught and a little tingly. But, when you are rinsing it off with cool water you will notice your deal skin cells going bye-bye. My skin looked youthful and had a glow to it. However, it is known that masks can stir up pimples or infections beneath the dermis. Therefore some people do not like to use masks that frequently. A few days later after the mask application, I noticed the debris making its way up to the surface causing a few little pumps to rise. This I assumed was because the skin is becoming clearer as a result of the mask. I would recommend this product to anyone that has dry skin or limited acne.
